Pacifica Solutions LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 10, 2026
Applies to: All PACIFICA SOLUTIONS LLC mobile applications and services, including GoNao.
PACIFICA SOLUTIONS LLC ("we," "us," or "our") develops and operates mobile applications and related services, including GoNao (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use any of our Services. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the relevant Service.
1. Information We Collect
This section constitutes our Notice at Collection under applicable United States state privacy frameworks.
a. Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:
- Full name — used to create and identify your account and to display to service businesses when you book an appointment.
- Email address — used for account login, booking confirmations, and communication about your appointments.
- Phone number — used for appointment reminders and to allow businesses to contact you about your booking when necessary.
- Home or service address — collected when you request mobile services (such as lawn care, house cleaning, or handyman services) that are performed at your location.
- Deposit arrangements — some businesses require a deposit to confirm bookings. Deposits are paid directly to the business via their preferred method (Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp). GoNao does not process card payments and does not store payment card data.
- Demographic information (optional) — age group, gender, and how you heard about GoNao, collected via a one-time optional survey shown after you sign up. This information is used solely to understand our user base and improve recommendations. You may skip this survey at any time with no impact on your experience. We do not share this data with third parties or use it for advertising.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Location data — with your permission, we access your device's location to show you nearby service businesses and to facilitate mobile service bookings. You may disable location access at any time in your device settings, though some features will be unavailable.
- Appointment history — records of services you have booked, cancelled, or completed through the App.
- Push notification tokens — when you grant notification permissions, we collect a device token to send you booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and status updates. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings > GoNao > Notifications; Android: Settings > Apps > GoNao > Notifications) or within the App under Settings > Notifications.
- Device and usage data — device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, and how you interact with the App (screens visited, features used, errors encountered).
c. Information from Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google LLC) — we use Firebase for user authentication, real-time database, cloud storage, and push notifications. Firebase may collect certain device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics for Firebase — we use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the App, identify performance issues, and improve the user experience. Analytics data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
- Mapping and Geocoding (OpenStreetMap / Nominatim) — when a business owner enters or searches for an address, that text is transmitted to OpenStreetMap/Nominatim servers to return address suggestions and convert physical addresses into geographic coordinates. This data is subject to the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
- Camera and Photo Library — with your explicit permission, we access your device's camera or image gallery solely to allow you to upload profile avatars or business imagery. Images are stored securely in our cloud database. We do not intentionally read or use any metadata (such as EXIF or location tags) embedded in uploaded files.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Facilitate bookings between you and local service businesses
- Send booking confirmations, reminders, and status notifications
- Show you nearby service providers relevant to your location, and to curate, display, or optimize promotional modules and marketing badges (such as "GoNao Picks") within the platform based on your general location, selected categories, and search parameters
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Analyze app usage to improve features and fix issues
- Review reports of abusive or fraudulent behavior and take moderation action to maintain platform safety
- Comply with applicable laws and protect our legal rights
- Send you occasional product updates or promotional offers (you may opt out at any time)
We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information (such as precise geolocation or service addresses) for purposes other than to execute the core services, security functionality, and booking features reasonably expected by an average user of our platform.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- With service businesses you book: When you make a booking, we share your name, phone number, and (for mobile services) service address with the business to fulfill your appointment.
- With service providers: We use trusted third-party vendors (including Firebase/Google) who assist in operating our App. These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose your information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to prevent fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
- Public reviews: If you submit a review for a business, your display name and review content are visible to all GoNao users. Reviews are public by design and cannot be made private after submission.
4. Business Owner Data
If you register a business on GoNao, we store your business name, address, category, working hours, services, staff profiles, subscription plan, and your designated peer-to-peer (P2P) payment handles (such as your Zelle email, Venmo username, PayPal link, or CashApp $cashtag). This payment information is displayed publicly on your business profile to facilitate direct transactions from customers. Business owners may generate a shareable booking link and QR code for their listing. These links are public and may be shared externally to allow customers to book directly. Businesses on paid plans can save private customer notes; these are only visible to that business and are not shared with other users.
5. Reports and Moderation Data
When you submit a report about another user or business, we collect the reason you selected, any optional description you provide, your identity as the reporter, and the identity of the reported party. We also verify whether you have had a confirmed or completed appointment with the reported party — this "verified" status helps us assess the credibility of the report.
Report data is stored securely and is accessible only to our moderation team. It is used solely to investigate potential violations of our Terms of Service and to decide whether to warn, suspend, or take other action on an account. We do not share individual report details with the person being reported.
If an account is suspended as a result of reports, the suspended status is stored on that account's profile. Affected users may submit additional context or request a review via our contact form. Report records are retained for the life of our platform for safety and accountability purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Specific retention periods:
- Account data (name, email, phone) — retained for the life of your account, deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Location data — precise location coordinates are processed dynamically in real time to calculate distances and sort search results; they are not permanently logged, tracked historically, or stored on our servers beyond the immediate session request. General city/region may be retained with your account for up to 12 months.
- Appointment history — retained for 3 years for dispute resolution and tax compliance, then deleted or anonymized.
- Business subscription records — billing records for paid plans retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
- Device and usage data — retained for up to 24 months for analytics and security purposes.
- Push notification tokens — invalidated or purged from our servers upon prolonged inactivity or indication of app uninstallation.
If you delete your account (via Profile → Delete Account in the app, or by contacting us), we will delete your personal information within 30 days. Appointment records are anonymized rather than deleted to preserve businesses' booking history. Data we are legally required to retain (payment records, tax records) is kept per applicable law.
7. United States Regional Privacy Rights & Choices
Depending on your state of residence within the United States — including but not limited to Texas, California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Indiana, and Kentucky — applicable state privacy frameworks may afford you specific rights regarding your personal data. We extend these baseline protections to all US residents using GoNao:
- Right to Confirm and Access: You have the right to confirm whether we are processing your personal data and to request a copy of the specific personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Correction: You have the right to request that we correct inaccuracies in the personal information we maintain on your profile.
- Right to Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of personal data provided by or obtained about you, subject to legal exceptions such as tax compliance, financial record retention, or dispute resolution.
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to obtain a portable copy of the personal data you previously provided to us. Requests are fulfilled via our contact form within 30 days.
- Right to Opt-Out of Processing: We do not sell your personal data for monetary consideration or use your data for cross-contextual targeted advertising. You may direct us not to process your data for targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of automated decisions by contacting us.
Account deletion can be done directly from within the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account. To exercise any other rights, use our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.
Appeals: If we decline to take action on a privacy rights request, you have the right to appeal our decision within 30 days of receiving our response. Submit your appeal via our contact form and note that you are filing an appeal.
If your appeal is denied, residents of states with active comprehensive privacy laws may contact their state Attorney General to file a formal complaint. Texas residents may do so at texasattorneygeneral.gov; California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), Firebase security rules, restricted access to production systems, and device-level secure storage for authentication credentials (Android Keystore on Android; iOS Keychain on iPhone). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
In the event we discover a data breach or unauthorized access compromising your personal information, we will notify affected users and appropriate regulatory authorities within the timelines mandated by applicable state laws — including Texas statutory notification deadlines under Texas Business & Commerce Code §521.053 — following verified confirmation of the incident.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
GoNao is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our systems. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will promptly delete the information.
10. Advertising and Cross-App Tracking
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or ad networks.
We do not use your personal information for cross-app tracking or to build advertising profiles. We do not track you across third-party apps and websites for targeted advertising purposes.
The analytics data we collect through Google Analytics for Firebase is used exclusively to improve the App's performance and user experience. It is not used for advertising profiling and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. On Apple devices, we comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework — we will request permission before tracking, and we do not track users who decline.
11. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as payment processors or social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending a notification through the App or to your registered email address. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
